LGBTQIA+ education tools

This page is developed as a result of implementation of our  "No Judgement Zone" Erasmus+ project no. 2023-3-PL01-KA210-YOU-000175928. You can read more about the project in general here. You will find here plenty of materials developed as tools to support youth workers in education about LGBTQIA+ as well as support the persons concerned.

What will you learn?

  • understand key concepts related to LGBTQIA+ identities and inclusion,

  • recognize common stereotypes and discriminatory behaviors,

  • gain practical tools to create a safe and inclusive learning environment,

  • feel more confident addressing sensitive topics with young people.

This module is designed for:

  • teachers and educators,

  • youth workers,

  • school staff and trainers,

  • professionals working with young people.

 

Level

Beginner / Intermediate (adapt depending on the module)

After completing the guide, you will be able to define and explain key LGBTQIA+ concepts clearly and accurately, understand the importance of inclusive language, and reflect on your own attitudes.

This toolkit gives you practical tools and ready-to-use activities to plan workshops, facilitate discussions, and support inclusive practices. You’ll learn how to design non-formal exercises for groups and handle sensitive questions confidently.
