"Rurbanians" Exploring Rural and Urban areas in Cyprus (2019-3-CY02-ESC11-001700)
We are currently searching for 2 participants for a duration of 12 months. We're planning activities on a daily basis, approximately 6 hours a day, weekends excluded.
Rurbanians will be organized firstly as a virtual project, where participants will receive virtual training from both the organization and certified trainers from the Cypriot National Agency (On- Arrival Virtual Training) and will be given virtual tasks, where they will be applying their new skillset.
Virtual tasks will be focused on environmental practices, creativity and innovation, where participants will be recording the process and results and later on process them using video-editing software (which they will be trained on).
When the situation in Cyprus is safe enough to host the participants, we will proceed with arranging transportation to Cyprus, accommodation and anything else that is deemed necessary. We are not in a position to specify the duration of the virtual version as it's solely depended on how the pandemic progresses.
In Cyprus, participants will be working with PlanBe (NGO located in the island of Cyprus named "PlanBe, Plan it Be it") on various activities PlanBe hosts in Cyprus (seminars, workshops, environment cleaning, educational trips etc), as well as with project implementation.
Participants will receive daily pocket money for the virtual version. The pocket money amounts at 5 euros per day. For the physical version, participants will be provided accommodation, daily pocket money and nutrition.
