"Questing - Adult Education in the Open Air"
The project has been funded with the support from the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme.
We have activated local society of Zeszczynka - a village in Poland well known for its milk production, near eastern border of EU - and supported their association in the creation, management and implementation of several new Grundtvig projects.
We provided know-how in the very area of management and logistics as well as fresh human resources. One of the projects was "Questing - adult education in the open air". The project has been implemented in 2012 - 2014.
Team members from the partner organizations organized several multinational events in each partner country. The meetings were held in Poland, Czech Republic, Italy and United Kingdom (Northern Ireland).
Within the project frameworks we have produced open-air educational games in the form of questing games. The games are based in each partners' region and promotes its cultural heritage and local values in an innovative way.
Increasing impact of local cultural events.
The educational questing games are additionally promoting unique local values and cultural events.
In Poland the game was based on local Milk festival. In Derry, Northern Ireland, local cultural heritage together with local unique Halloween traditions contributed to the game creation. In Czech Republic local vine making traditions were involved. In Italy the game is based on local values of Senigallia.
