Project Summary:

The project aims at familiarising young participants from EU countries with the relevance of a problem of hate speech.
Nowadays, the issue is becoming more and more widespread, especially in public space, media, culture, as well as on the Internet. Hate speech being one of the world's serious problem may involve many tremendous effects, for instance, hostility, aggression or even
commitment of a crime.
Within the framework of the project, the participants will learn how to limit the negative aspects of the following phenomenon. In that case, numerous solutions and approaches regarding the issue will be discussed and presented.

We will gather 4 young people from 6 countries who will work together to expand ideas for prevention the negative effects of Hate Speech and to develop ideas for future activities and projects in terms of this movement.
Our intention is to not only make one project, but create a whole set of activities, which can be implemented in order to solve problem of aggression & violence.
During the Training Course we are going to create a guidebook for youth workers and facilitators on the topic of Hate Speech prevention that will be translated into Polish, Georgian, Romanian, Italian, Ukrainian and spread around all the EU.

The venue of the project is located in Motycz Leśny (16 km from the city centre of Lublin.

PARTICIPANTS WITH FEWER OPPORTUNITIES


This project involves young people that are confronted in life with situations that make participation more difficult to them. These are: cultural differences, economic obstacles, geographical obstacles, social obstacles.

Food, accommodation and local travel costs (only during the activity program) will be covered 100% by the grant from local National Agency of Erasmus+.
